Most organizations describe themselves by what they make or sell. We find it more accurate to describe ourselves by what we hold. Schlitt holds commitments — to communities, to systems, to obligations that outlast the arrangements that created them — and it organizes everything else around the holding.
We are a family of enterprises rather than a single firm. Our divisions differ in what they do; they are identical in how they conduct themselves. A visitor who spends time with any part of Schlitt will recognize the whole: the same patience, the same discipline, the same refusal to confuse attention with importance.
